Why you should invest in your business

Fellow bloggers, here's a quick lesson I want to share with ya.

To get to know more about the money making industry you need to look around and see for yourself what works and what doesn't, not exactly something new right?

Over time you'll see some opportunities that will allow you go jump on board without any restriction or hidden contract you didn't know about, and of course there's the other side of the same coin, and you have to open your wallet to take a peek on the inside.

It's nothing out of the ordinary and that's how the Internet marketing business stays alive, ya?

Otherwise... where would the money come from? Besides the customers, I mean.

That said, sometimes when you see programs that need you to pay a membership fee to get in, use that fee to maintain the site.

That, too, is normal and since you get to monetize the membership, it actually pays for itself.

All of this allows all involved parties to get something in return: the program you've joined receives more traffic to their site and a percentage of whatever service you're reselling while you, the most important part, get to earn money as well.

In a perfect world, this would achieve a perfect balance between Affiliates and Companies.

Yet... it isn't so. Why?

Occasionally, you might stumble upon some users who think this business model shouldn't exist or is likely to be powered by a scammer...

Here's an example of that:

I'm here to break off misconceptions and this is one of them.

Yes there are fake websites that ask an upfront payment but, unlike what this Yahoo user posted, legitimate companies are the majority here.

Apart from that, he is correct. Basically this refers to blogging.

Here's yet another example from Newamericanmedia.org:

A horrible tip in my opinion, especially if you're serious about making money.

The expression You gotta spend money to make money isn't just an empty quote. And I proved just that in the last post, not to mention that it didn't cost much money and effort to do it.

Because, the truth is, with investment, affiliates are given tons and tons of tools, stuff they can readily use to market their presence.

It gives you the potential to earn money on your first day, week or month, since you already have what you need.

Worldprofits.com serves as a good example, although you can join for free and not upgrade. And they were even distinguished by the BBB.

The reason why I'm telling you this is that you're bound to reach a point where you will no longer be able to trade your time for money, a basic requirement for free programs, and when you do, you'll have to look for the above said tools by yourself and most of the time, if you get them separately, it costs you more.

Only then you'll realize you've been spinning your wheels on the same spot thinking "Wow... you could do that? Tch! If only I had bought it sooner..."

I've been there, tried using free stuff to earn money online, and it FLAT-OUT DOESN'T WORK.

So, try to get some money you can use to advertise or get a marketing tool to help you with something you don't know or outsource someone, etc...

Of course, you don't want to invest your hard earned money into something that just doesn't work.

Do your research first, see if the company is legitimate and is paying, has a good customer support and aren't bad reviews.

If everything checks out, get whatever you need.

You'll always need to conduct your own research and see things for yourself.

There are frequently affiliates who complain on Company A not paying or giving them what they want.

Those guys, 99% of times didn't even bother working to reach their goals and now they want their money back.

No business will earn money for lazy people.

Either you work for what you want or let whoever does get ahead of you.

But keep fighting, don't give up and you'll succeed.
