Using Social Networks to increase website traffic

Hi everyone!

Get yourselves a notepad because this will be something of really good use for ya.

Today we'll learn the right way to leverage social networks.

Regardless of how many friends and followers you might have, one thing is guaranteed: they'll be the ones to do the advertising for you. Even if you don't have any!

So, what I want you to do is get an account in the following social networks, if you don't have one already:
  • Facebook
  • Google+
  • Twitter
  • YouTube
  • Pinterest
  • Reddit
  • StumbleUpon
It may seem a lot to deal with but you can use a Social Media Manager like HootSuite to keep them all synchronized.

But I don't think you'll don't need to unless you're really lazy or have way too many social networks since you can post automatically in one from another.

Then, just create a new blog post and put at least two images, but be sure to include videos and audios if you can.

Reddit
Share it in someone else's subreddit. Don't bother creating your own, it's a waste of effort as it's the same thing as creating a new website from scratch.

Pinterest
Pin the post images and share with your friends and ask them to do the same.
If you got followers, great! If you don't, don't worry that's fine too.

Facebook & Twitter
Piece of cake! You can autopost from one to other and vice-versa, plus I highly doubt you don't have an account with them so, you're bound to have someone noticing you.
Be an active, constant blogger andyour posts will get shared. Be sure to post in Facebook Groups too.

StumbleUpon
Don't know why but I always see it like an advanced Traffic Exchange: you get viewers by viewing other people's site.
However, there is something more to it than just that; in case your content is spotted by someone with a lot of followers and he/she shares your post, you'll get thousands upon thousands of viewers in no time at all.

Using all of these techniques and social networks, I managed not only to get more website hits but also increase my followers.

And it won't even take you too long to get all these accounts networked and ready.

Hey! There's even more: You are a Blogger, right? So, you'll need to submit your site to all major search engines.

After that, and you have several posts ready to go, ping your site to have search engines index them.

To do so, click here to see a list of sites that Ping your Blog.

Do this in a frequent basis and you'll naturaly increase your traffic.

Once again, thank you for reading! Don't forget to share this if it helped you! ;-)

Goodbye to eBay and Amazon?

WOW!! Guys, it has been one heck of a weekend! :-D

I've been busy getting sales which is why I haven't posted in some time.

Yeah, go figure: in the past 3 or 5 days, I flooded my OLX.pt account with various items I have in possession, stuff I don't use and manage to sell most of them.

I didn't exactly tracked down how many purchases people made through me but, guess what? I just made yet another sale! x-D

Geesh, at times like this, it really helps to get high quality products to sell because in these platforms, it doesn't really need much advertising as long as you're specific to what you're selling.

So far this is what is in demand in my area:
  • parfumes
  • mobile storage devices
  • AGP graphic cards
  • used cellphones...
And this is only the stuff I can remember.

Here in Portugal you can make a killing if you have old GPU's.

But enough of that...

This IS supposed to be about you, right?

So here's something I want you to try:

If you got stuff you want to sell and don't want to spend money just to list them or have them being stuffed in overcrowded listings, try OLX.com instead.

Not that you should give up from eBay, Craigslist or Amazon, no.

Keep your listings there, but add them to OLX as well.

However, if you don't have anything to sell, consider dropshipping.

While it's less reliable, you can make a lot more money with it and all you got to do is just match-make items with buyers.

No need to process payments, deal with shipping details or any of that.

Just choose a product from a supplier, get their details, post an ad in any of these sites, set your price, collect the payment and give the shipping details to the supplier along with his money.

It does sound easy, doesn't it?

Of course, in order for you to earn money with dropshipping, you'll need to increase the price a little bit.

The only downside is that the shipping may run into some problems or the supplier has stock shortages.

It isn't often, but it still happens.

Nevertheless, it's still a good starting point because it's much like affiliate marketing.

There's a cheap Dropshipping site you can join and start selling. You only need to pay once a year for their membership and the amount of products you can sell and money you can earn are unlimited! ;-D

It's called Salehoo and it's a very well-known site.

They're listed in Better Business Bureau so, it's bound to be a trusted platform.

Find a product, post an ad in those 4 Sites or others you know and watch the money flowing in...

Still, I find it hard to believe that you don't have anything of worth to convert into cash... there's always something.

Now off you go and make some money, I'll comeback in a few days with a kickass way to get more web hosting clients!

By the meantime, I'll keep you posted with extra ideas to monetize your site.

Love ya,
Wilson

Explode your blog content!

Getting a lot of traffic to your website isn't just about viewers because that's easy in and of itself.

What you want is readers; people who feed on your content.

Taking its quality from the equation (which should ALWAYS be high), you'll also need quantity.

How to increase it?
The Empower Network, a company that is known for focusing its marketing on Blogging, tells you that you should make at least one blog post per day.

Ideally, you'd make 2 or more. Speaking of which, I think this is my 3rd or 4th post today.

What they don't tell you is to make videos EVERYDAY!

Yup, you should make 2 blog posts and then share on social networks you commonly use, then make a video and share it as well!

Making videos is fairly easy, even if it's just a slideshow.

I'm good with words but am no good with videos, maybe you're a better film-maker than a writer!

Why not take advantage of that? Shoot video lessons, make comparisons, etc.

Just do it on a regular basis.

Here, this is a list of Video software you can use for them.

Blogging, combined with a good set of videos can increase your website's SEO.

After all, YouTube is a search engine and you're bound to get more hits!

So, try this: for every four blog posts, create one video.

I'll start doing this myself and you should too!

Just another way to get qualified attention!
Become a video producer and increase your rankings!

Why you should invest in your business

Fellow bloggers, here's a quick lesson I want to share with ya.

To get to know more about the money making industry you need to look around and see for yourself what works and what doesn't, not exactly something new right?

Over time you'll see some opportunities that will allow you go jump on board without any restriction or hidden contract you didn't know about, and of course there's the other side of the same coin, and you have to open your wallet to take a peek on the inside.

It's nothing out of the ordinary and that's how the Internet marketing business stays alive, ya?

Otherwise... where would the money come from? Besides the customers, I mean.

That said, sometimes when you see programs that need you to pay a membership fee to get in, use that fee to maintain the site.

That, too, is normal and since you get to monetize the membership, it actually pays for itself.

All of this allows all involved parties to get something in return: the program you've joined receives more traffic to their site and a percentage of whatever service you're reselling while you, the most important part, get to earn money as well.

In a perfect world, this would achieve a perfect balance between Affiliates and Companies.

Yet... it isn't so. Why?

Occasionally, you might stumble upon some users who think this business model shouldn't exist or is likely to be powered by a scammer...

Here's an example of that:

I'm here to break off misconceptions and this is one of them.

Yes there are fake websites that ask an upfront payment but, unlike what this Yahoo user posted, legitimate companies are the majority here.

Apart from that, he is correct. Basically this refers to blogging.

Here's yet another example from Newamericanmedia.org:

A horrible tip in my opinion, especially if you're serious about making money.

The expression You gotta spend money to make money isn't just an empty quote. And I proved just that in the last post, not to mention that it didn't cost much money and effort to do it.

Because, the truth is, with investment, affiliates are given tons and tons of tools, stuff they can readily use to market their presence.

It gives you the potential to earn money on your first day, week or month, since you already have what you need.

Worldprofits.com serves as a good example, although you can join for free and not upgrade. And they were even distinguished by the BBB.

The reason why I'm telling you this is that you're bound to reach a point where you will no longer be able to trade your time for money, a basic requirement for free programs, and when you do, you'll have to look for the above said tools by yourself and most of the time, if you get them separately, it costs you more.

Only then you'll realize you've been spinning your wheels on the same spot thinking "Wow... you could do that? Tch! If only I had bought it sooner..."

I've been there, tried using free stuff to earn money online, and it FLAT-OUT DOESN'T WORK.

So, try to get some money you can use to advertise or get a marketing tool to help you with something you don't know or outsource someone, etc...

Of course, you don't want to invest your hard earned money into something that just doesn't work.

Do your research first, see if the company is legitimate and is paying, has a good customer support and aren't bad reviews.

If everything checks out, get whatever you need.

You'll always need to conduct your own research and see things for yourself.

There are frequently affiliates who complain on Company A not paying or giving them what they want.

Those guys, 99% of times didn't even bother working to reach their goals and now they want their money back.

No business will earn money for lazy people.

Either you work for what you want or let whoever does get ahead of you.

But keep fighting, don't give up and you'll succeed.

[WINTEMO] 4 types of platforms to make money online

Lock'n'load, fellows:

I've finished updating WINTEMO with the main basic stuff.

You can now earn money using 4 most used ways to make money online:

  1. FOREX/Binary Options
  2. Affiliate Marketing
  3. Blogging
  4. Freelance Jobs

In a nutshell

  • FOREX is the most liquid way;
  • Affiliate Marketing gives you residual income;
  • Blogging markets your presence;
  • Freelance Jobs allow you to get started without investment.

A good way to ensure you're draining the Internet 'till the last drop would be starting with Freelance Jobs and make some money with them, the start a blog and share what you're learning, put in some ads and affiliate links then make the leap to FOREX and finally join a good Affiliate Marketing platform to earn residual income.
This would take you up to 5 years, depending on how fast are you and what skills you might already have, how much are you willing to spend...
All of them have their ups and downs and I'll be showing you them all, along with a good strategy to get you started.
But first, I'll add in some basic tools you'll need.
I'll be seeing you on the next post!
