Now this is HARD-CORE and I bet no one is trying it!
I decided to make use of my selling streak and take it one step further.
See, when you're selling lots of items, some will be favored over the others right? So, using that to your advantage, it makes sense to only sell those items more than the others.
But, you're bound to reach a point where you'll run out of stuff to sell that falls on the same category.
Just on a previous post I mentioned you could dropship through membership sites, like... Salehoo, for example.
You can easily make a ton of money because the items to choose from are just immense and their wholesale prices are so low.
Indeed Salehoo is nice and cheap...
But what if you still don't have the money to pay for the membership? Well, let me tell ya: you can still dropship without 'em!
How?! Don't I need to join another site?
Ideally, yes. You'd be better off because you wouldn't need to deal with anything other than processing payments.
Essentially, you'd be a very well paid cashier.
But you can do the same... OFFLINE! It's simple, it's easy and best of all, it's 100% free!
1 - Find something that sells itself. Doesn't matter what, just try to get something you can buy cheap and sell high. Do some research.
2 - Go to a store and look for anything like that. Be sure to your Smartphone, tablet or whatever.
It has to have a small camera on it. Also, remember to get something you can use a background, like a folder or a journal.
You'll have to take pictures and most stores won't allow you to so, be stealthy.
There's no need to buy anything [yet].
4 - Using the pictures you just took, post an ad in online classifieds. This works best on OLX.com and eBay.
It may work on others but I haven't tested on other platforms.
You'll need to setup a price that covers for:
- the product itself
- shipping costs
- your winnings
5 - When you get a buyer and he/she makes the payment, only then you go to the store, buy the product and ship it to your customer.
Since there are no middle-mans, account fees and stores usually have everything in stock, you won't have to worry about payments to third-parties and membership fees!
Also, by using this way, when they buy from you, you earn money from something you don't even own and even if they don't there's nothing you lose!
This is possibly the best way to make money dropshipping, and for free!
Here are some notes, though:
- Be extra careful when taking pictures, the clerks and/or security guards may kick-ban you or even call the cops.
-Try to look for products with discounts. You'll be able to charge the same price and get more profits at the same time.
-If you're good finding deals, online, offline, in auctions or other people's listings, you may be lucky enough to find a cheap supplier!
-Since shipping can greatly increase costs, consider selling locally, from person to person but only if you're comfortable enough.
I dunno about you, but I'm definitely gonna try this!
