Using Social Networks to increase website traffic

Hi everyone!

Get yourselves a notepad because this will be something of really good use for ya.

Today we'll learn the right way to leverage social networks.

Regardless of how many friends and followers you might have, one thing is guaranteed: they'll be the ones to do the advertising for you. Even if you don't have any!

So, what I want you to do is get an account in the following social networks, if you don't have one already:
  • Facebook
  • Google+
  • Twitter
  • YouTube
  • Pinterest
  • Reddit
  • StumbleUpon
It may seem a lot to deal with but you can use a Social Media Manager like HootSuite to keep them all synchronized.

But I don't think you'll don't need to unless you're really lazy or have way too many social networks since you can post automatically in one from another.

Then, just create a new blog post and put at least two images, but be sure to include videos and audios if you can.

Reddit
Share it in someone else's subreddit. Don't bother creating your own, it's a waste of effort as it's the same thing as creating a new website from scratch.

Pinterest
Pin the post images and share with your friends and ask them to do the same.
If you got followers, great! If you don't, don't worry that's fine too.

Facebook & Twitter
Piece of cake! You can autopost from one to other and vice-versa, plus I highly doubt you don't have an account with them so, you're bound to have someone noticing you.
Be an active, constant blogger andyour posts will get shared. Be sure to post in Facebook Groups too.

StumbleUpon
Don't know why but I always see it like an advanced Traffic Exchange: you get viewers by viewing other people's site.
However, there is something more to it than just that; in case your content is spotted by someone with a lot of followers and he/she shares your post, you'll get thousands upon thousands of viewers in no time at all.

Using all of these techniques and social networks, I managed not only to get more website hits but also increase my followers.

And it won't even take you too long to get all these accounts networked and ready.

Hey! There's even more: You are a Blogger, right? So, you'll need to submit your site to all major search engines.

After that, and you have several posts ready to go, ping your site to have search engines index them.

To do so, click here to see a list of sites that Ping your Blog.

Do this in a frequent basis and you'll naturaly increase your traffic.

Once again, thank you for reading! Don't forget to share this if it helped you! ;-)
