Make money, make sites!

I know I said I'd leave this for later but the excitement is just too great!

A few days ago I told you guys how great my sales on OLX.pt were doing (and I should mention that I received YET another sales request in the same day!) but now I'm showing you a way to get more web hosting account sales and increase traffic while advertising online and offline.

But do note: it doesn't come cheap and may not work if you're not willing to invest or don't know much about HTML.

Skipping the intro here's the deal:

You'll need the following:

  • A hosting Reseller account
  • Lots and lots of WordPress Premium Themes
  • Some $ spare, not much
  • FTP access to your own server

Follow these instructions CAREFULLY and you'll be able to amp up your sales, otherwise you're losing money.
If you already have a web hosting reseller's account then this is for you. You can get a cheap one in GoResellers.com.

1 - Download premium WP Templates if you don't have any. You can get a whole bunch of them in ElegantThemes.com(recommended) or ThemeForrest.

They allow you to make sites using their themes for clients.

Install the theme and activate it, then go to
Appearance > Editor...

From the Editor, on the left sidebar, proceed to Footer...

Finally, just above the </body> tag place there the HTML code for linking back to your site.

Here's the Sample Code.

<a href="http://www.your-domain.com"> Hosted by Your Site Name</a>

Save all changes and access your WP folder via FTP so you can download the Changed Theme.

Download it, zip it and save it with another name so you know what the theme has your link on it.

Do this for all the themes you plan using.

2 - Change the pricing of your hosting accounts.
Make it as cheap as possible to entice more sign-ups for you. Cheap domain names and hosting packages.
Be competitive and offer several benefits.

3 - Now you need to advertise your offer both online and offline:

Offline: create pamphlets saying that you're offering to make Premium WP sites and distribute it to the areas you can physically go to.
You can also offer to setup via TeamViewer but that would be too much hassle if you want them to pay you for it.

Personally, I'd recommend you do the sites for free up to 6~7 pages since they'll be buying your hosting.

But you can always make the site for them through your own resellers account so, no biggie, just make sure they can preview the theme and mail you the specs.

Online: the usual stuff; banners, PPC, PTC, etc.. Stuff you already are familiar with.

4 - As soon as you start getting clients, for as long as they remain your customers, not only you'll get more money from their accounts, but you'll also increase the links pointing to your site.

It may seem trivial and pointless at first, but this is a numbers game and the more you collect, the more you can earn.

Remember: the link you put in the footer of the theme can point to ANY site you want to: it can promote your affiliate product, your personal blog, etc. You're in control.
